The sign-in link never arrives
Haven has no passwords, so the link is the only way in and it matters that it lands. There are four reasons it does not, and the page deliberately cannot tell you which.
What is probably going on
It went to spam. A short one-off email with a single link is exactly what spam filters are suspicious of.
- Mark it as not spam so the next one lands.
The address has no household on it. The sign-in page answers identically either way on purpose — anything else would let a stranger ask whether your family uses Haven.
- Try the other addresses you use.
- If the household predates accounts, it has no address at all: find the join code in any set-up device's extension options and claim the household with it at /account.
You asked for several in a row. There is a limit of five per address per hour, and past it nothing is sent — a limit that exists so this endpoint cannot be used to bury somebody in mail.
- Wait an hour and ask once.
The link expired or was already used. It works once and for twenty minutes, because a sign-in email can sit in a shared family inbox for a long time.
- Ask for a new one and open it straight away.

Still stuck?
Two doors, and neither of them is a queue you never hear back from.
Last checked 2026-08. Nothing on this page was written by a model — a made-up menu path is worse than no instruction at all, and this is the page somebody reads when they are already stuck.
