The Haven extension is not working on my iPhone
Safari asks for permission per site, and it offers an option that looks cautious and lapses silently. That option is the usual answer.
What is probably going on
Permission was granted as "Allow for One Day". It reads as the careful choice and then quietly expires, leaving Haven present and silent — which looks exactly like a broken extension.
- Tap the extensions button in Safari's address bar → Haven → Always Allow on This Website.
- Better: Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions → Haven → set the permission to Allow for all websites.
The extension is installed with Compass but never enabled. iOS ships it inside the app and leaves the switch to you.
- Turn it on, then set its site permission.
You are browsing in an app rather than in Safari. A Safari extension only reaches Safari.
- Open the link in Safari — most in-app browsers have a "Open in Safari" item in their share menu.
What Haven cannot fix here
Stated plainly, because a product that hides its edges is how you end up trusting a surface nobody is covering.

Still stuck?
Two doors, and neither of them is a queue you never hear back from.
Last checked 2026-08. Nothing on this page was written by a model — a made-up menu path is worse than no instruction at all, and this is the page somebody reads when they are already stuck.
